| There are
many people willing to work on your barrel. The questions you have to
ask are: How will it shoot after the work is complete? Did I just spend
money on a match grade barrel only to have it ruined? When recrowning a barrel, the axis of the bore must be running as close to perfect as possible. Custom Brakz makes certain of this before doing the work. When threading a barrel, the threads must be as concentric as possible to the center line of the bore. If not, the projectile will exit the muzzle at a slight angle. Depending on how drastic the angle, the projectile could even clip the muzzle of the accessory that's been threaded on to the barrel. |
